Our Goals and Vision
The Catholic Heritage is devoted to helping Catholic Christians better understand the history, teachings and culture of their Catholic faith so that they can better love and serve Christ, the Church and their neighbors. We aim to provide scholarly resources for a deeper comprehension of the Catholic faith.
The Estradas aim to share their fruits of their education with all those interested in learning more about the Catholic faith through an online learning community. Click on the CH Institute button above in the main menu to learn more.
Who We Are
The Catholic Heritage is a lay run ministry aimed at meeting the educational needs of the Catholic faithful. The shows are hosted by Mary Estrada and Dr. Erik Estrada. Occasionally, one of their three kids will make a surprise appearance on the show. In addition to helping with the show setup, their son Paul has joined the show and has asked very insightful questions.
Our Story
The Estradas left Southern California to pursue advanced degrees in theology. Their educational journey took them to various universities and theological institutions in the United States and Europe. They currently run two separate shows for Catholic Heritage.

Meet the Host
Dr. Erik Estrada
Host
Dr. Erik Estrada is the co-founder of Catholic Heritage and the host of the Catholic Heritage Show. Dr. Estrada holds a Ph.D. from the University of Notre Dame and specializes in the history of Christianity and historical theology. He also completed a licentiate (S.T.L) in theology and patristic science at the Augustinianum Patristic Institute in Rome and a S.T.B. at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas.
